Flights
Narita and Haneda Airports are the main gateway airports for accessing Myoko Kogen. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to stay at one of the hotels near the airport that include free airport shuttles or you make your way to Tokyo via train.

Train
Flying into Narita – Take the Narita Express train straight from the terminal at Narita Airport which will take you to Tokyo Station.
Flying into Haneda –Take the Keikyu Airport Line train to Shinagawa Station or the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho Station, then transfer to other JR lines for Tokyo.
Here you can enjoy a night in Tokyo or continue onto Nagano via Shinkansen.
Shinkansen
To travel from Tokyo to Nagano by Shinkansen, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen, which typically takes around 1 hour and 24 minutes, with the first train departing around 6am and the last train around 10pm
Myoko Kogen Local Train
From Nagano station, you will travel via local train to Myoko Kogen station which takes approximately 50 mins. This service can be interrupted at times by heavy snowfall so please check for updates prior to travel.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available from Myoko Kogen station to transport you to your Drifter Myoko Powder Stays accommodation

To Tokyo
Airport Limousine Buses operate from both airports which will take you to Central Tokyo if you plan to spend some time in Tokyo before heading to Myoko.
To Myoko
Nagano Snow Shuttle operates shuttles to and from Myoko a number times a day via Nagano and is a convenient way to travel with ski luggage.

Drive
You can also rent a car from either airport or Tokyo and drive to Myoko Kogen. This will take approximately 3.5 – 4 hrs without stops. Rental cars for use around Myoko Kogen must be 4WD and have snow tyres. Car rental is also possible from Nagano Station which is approximately 1 hrs drive from Myoko Kogen.
